Today’s guest gives back to her community and the result is huge- she even has her photos on beers cans! But until a couple of year ago she was shooting too much for too little and so she engaged a business coach to help her increase her annual profit. Emily Allen

Tailor Mayde Photography, USA

Hello! I'm Emily, owner of Tailor Mayde Photography based out of Buffalo, NY. I specialize in lifestyle, story telling sessions with pets as the main focus. 80% of my clients are pups and pups with their people, 10% horses, 1% cats and 9% cat's hiding.

I have been in business since 2011, dabbling in everything from newborns, weddings, events, etc. I was beginning to feel burnt out trying to compete with so many up and coming local photographers over the years. So in 2018, I decided on a whim to throw some cheese balls at my dogs and BOOM, treat toss sessions opened the door to my now 6 figure pet photography business!

Thanks to this wonderful community of pet photographers, their resources, conferences, workshops, mentorships, etc., I have been able to learn, grow and build a successful business from the ground up. Allowing me to quit my job in 2019 and I have been full time ever since!
